Ray Sykes has always had a fascination with how things work and how they are made, and has gained experience in a wide range of technical disciplines over the years. He graduated from college with a civil engineering degree, and has built on that with work experience in structural engineering, hands-on construction, and construction project management. In his time working on collaborative big art, he has been a go-to person for designing and building many of the core, technically complicated systems on the sculptures of Charles Gadeken, the Flaming Lotus girls, and others.
